| Marvin and Margaret Glenn, and their children, Janet and
Warner, lived on the family ranch south of the Chiricahua Mountains in Southeastern
Arizona. In 1960, Warner married Wendy. Since then, she has been part of the ranching efforts of the family. With Marvin and Margaret's help, the younger Glenns purchased the rangeland that was part of the historic John Slaughter Ranch in the San Bernardino Valley, east of Douglas, Arizona. Their children are Kelly and Cody. Cody was a Green Beret in the U.S. Army and is currently working in California. Kelly, her husband, Kerry Kimbro, and their daughter, Mackenzie, live near Douglas. Warner dedicated this book to his father, Marvin, who suddenly became ill in 1990 and passed away in 1991. Warner attributes everything he knows about the great outdoors and his appreciation for the animals that live therein to Marvin. He was honest, hardworking, and always had a smile. It was a genuine pleasure to be around him, for the tough jobs and fun times. He loved his family, his horses, mules, dogs, hunting, playing the guitar, and life in general. The family still feels Marvin's presence daily in all that they do.
